At Last!
The Other Side to Avebury – the village, the pub, the shops and the Manor.
Fantastic pub lunch, highly recommended.

Avebury Museum has a few interesting pieces.
Avebury Manor, made interesting by the fact that the National Trust is allowing you to TOUCH everything. I had a flick through a few 1930’s magazines, sat in a 1930’s armchair and DS played billiards.
The garden was stunningly well ordered.
I loved the rustic nature of this gate.
And what a thing to see as we left Avebury after a REALLY enjoyable day.
Mother Nature was beautiful again.
